    Methods and Devices for Preparing and Analyzing Embedded Tissues

    A precision deparaffinization system built from a solvent reservoir, heater, probe, vacuum, melted paraffin reservoir, and control system. Localized thermal control melts paraffin only where it is needed, so samples stay preserved, solvent use drops sharply, and results stay reproducible. It runs standalone or alongside mass spectrometry platforms for clinical diagnostics, cancer research, forensics, and histology on FFPE tissue.

    Biosensor and Assays for Rapid Detection of Antibiotic Resistance

    Engineered bacterial cells carrying a reporter gene under a promoter that switches on in the presence of intact beta-lactam antibiotics. The cells glow when the antibiotic is intact and stay dark when beta-lactamase has already degraded it, which identifies carbapenem-resistant organisms in roughly 2.5 hours instead of the 18 to 24 hours conventional methods need.

    A companion assay aimed at rapid, colorimetric readout of carbapenemase activity in clinical samples. It targets the same clinical bottleneck as the biosensor: giving clinicians a resistance profile fast enough to inform the first antibiotic prescription rather than a day later.

    Cancer Vaccine

    Combination Therapy Tumour Cell Vaccine

    A therapeutic cancer vaccine that pairs killed tumour cells with immune-stimulating adjuvants: a tumour associated antigen, a Toll-like receptor agonist, and a cytokine in a deliverable vehicle. In melanoma models the three components together outperformed any one alone, and vaccinated subjects resisted tumour recurrence at 60 days, indicating durable immune memory.
